Stretch and get ready to “run” your best race ever!  Ready…Set…and when the gun goes off racers cheer, make their way across the start line and enjoy the festivities!!  Prepare for the most fun zero-kilometer race of your non-running career!  Strength and endurance will be required to appreciate all of the music and libations that make a Zero-K a challenge for some participants!  So train hard, and EARN your 0.0 bumper sticker!

Our club, in partnership with the town of Cornelius and Bella Love’s 2nd Friday Street Festival, will host this unique un-run at Oak Street Mill in downtown Cornelius.  With a variety of food trucks, breweries, live music by the ever-so-fun Shades of Brown band, and kids activities this event is family friendly and open to all ages.  Additionally, prizes will be awarded for best team costumes, team theme, and team name.  So, give your creativity a workout and put together your corporate or community team for an added race challenge.

The registration fee of $30 provides each participant with a race bib, T-shirt, drink tickets, a swag bag & entry for raffle prizes. Lace up your sneakers (or high heels), dust off those 80’s sweat bands and spread the word to help our club raise proceeds for the construction of the 9-11 Monument!

Rotary After Hours – July 2016

Cottage

Join us for this month’s edition of Rotary After-Hours.  We will be meeting at Lake Norman Cottage in Davidson from 6:30 – 8:30pm on July 28th.  For those who are interested, LKN Cottage is adjacent to North Harbor Club, and as such, can be accessed by boat.

Rotary After-Hours is a great event for fun networking, and introducing potential members to the club.  This month’s event will also include a Red-Badge Training for new members from 5:00pm – 6:30pm.  We look forward to seeing you there!
